I had fabric left over from the quilt I recently made Dear Eldest Daughter. I also had 2 packages of acorn buttons…oh, what to do, what to do. The fabric is from the line Mending Fences. I’m a big fan of log cabin blocks and those were the jump off point for this quilt, along with a picture I found on the internet. I appliqued oak leaves on the centre area and sewed the tiny acorn buttons in between.
It looks lovely on her new buffet in her dining room.
